Visitors to Brazil from Canada or the United States traveling with passports from these countries do not need a visa to enter Brazil as tourists.
As of February 1st 2023, most North America based Airlines have opened their flight booking systems for trips to Rio de Janeiro in November 2023 and they are now taking online reservations.
Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets as early as possible to take advantage of currently available lower fares.

Visitors to Brazil from the UK or European Union countries traveling with passports from these countries do not need a visa to enter Brazil as tourists.

Guests from Africa
Visitors to Brazil from most African countries traveling with passports from these countries require a visa to enter Brazil as tourists. Citizens of South Africa with passports valid for at least 6 months do not require a visa to enter Brazil as tourists.

Guests coming from the Middle East
Visitors to Brazil from most Middle Eastern countries require a visa to enter Brazil as tourists. UAE passport holders may enter Brazil visa free.
Emirates Airline operates four weekly flights direct flights from Dubai to Rio de Janeiro. The airline has also announced it plans to make the frequency daily from February 2023.
